Python/Go Developer

What you’re going to do

• Develop and improve internal monitoring and alerting systems
• Design backend services for collecting and processing metrics, events, and alerts
• Build notification grouping, routing, and processing logic
• Develop APIs and integrations with internal company services
• Work with large volumes of data and high-load systems
• Improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of our services
• Investigate incidents and identify the root causes of failures and performance degradation
• Contribute to architectural decisions and directly influence the development of the product

The skillset required

• At least 3 years of commercial backend development experience
• Strong proficiency in Python or Go
• Experience developing and running production services
• Good understanding of distributed and fault-tolerant systems
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, or observability systems
• Understanding of the principles behind collecting and processing metrics, logs, and events
• Experience with PostgreSQL or other databases
• Confident knowledge of Linux and Git
• Ability to independently understand existing systems and propose architectural solutions

Will be a plus

• Experience building an in-house monitoring or alerting system
• Experience with Prometheus, Alertmanager, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or ClickHouse
• Experience with Kafka or other event-streaming and processing systems
• Experience developing high-load and high-throughput services
